WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN?

Check in begins at 3pm for all guests.


WHAT TIME IS CHECK OUT?

Check out is promptly at 12 noon for all guests.


IS EARLY CHECK IN OR LATE CHECK OUT AVAILABLE?

We are happy to request an early arrival or late departure for you, though neither can be guaranteed prior to the date of arrival. We are always happy to hold your luggage prior to check in or after check out; this service is complimentary, but you will want to provide a gratuity to the person helping you. Please note that guest luggage and personal items cannot be held overnight.


FOR CHECK OUT REQUESTS LATER THAN 2PM, THE FOLLOWING FEES MAY APPLY:

Between 1pm and 4pm, Half Day Room Rate

After 4pm, Full Day Room Rate


WHAT AGE DO I NEED TO BE TO CHECK IN?

In order to check in, the registered guest must be at least 18 years of age, and will need to provide a credit card and matching government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport. For guest’s between the ages of 18 and 21, an additional fee of $35 will be assessed to clear the mini bar refrigerators.


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

For most reservations made directly with the hotel, cancellations may be made up to 24 hours prior to the date of arrival by 3pm Eastern time without penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival incur a penalty charge of the first night’s room rate.

If you reserve under our Advance Purchase Rate (21 days in advance, fully prepaid), the reservation is non-refundable, non-changeable, non-cancellable.

If you made your reservation through a group, the group contract will outline specific cancellation policies.

If you made your reservation through a third party website, cancellations must be made directly with the third party. The hotel is not authorized to cancel, and cannot provide refunds, for any third party reservations.


HOW DO I MAKE A GROUP RESERVATION?

Bookings of ten (10) or more guests are considered a group. For more information on group blocks, rates, conditions, and cancellation policies, please contact our Group Sales Team at 212.592.8899. You may also fill out our group request form here.


IS WIFI/INTERNET ACCESS AVAILABLE?

WiFi internet access is available in all guest rooms and the lobby of the hotel. Access is complimentary for guests of the hotel, and access codes are provided at check in.


IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

Valet parking is available at the rate of $50+tax per 24 hour period ($60+tax for an SUV, minivan, or larger vehicle). No in/out privileges are included, and no partial day charges will be allowed. Should you need to retrieve the car a new charge will begin upon your return.

There are a variety of self-parking options in the neighborhood, with garage rates ranging between $35 and $55 for 24 hours.


DO YOU ALLOW PETS?

No, The Tuscany does not allow pets.


DO YOU HAVE SMOKING ROOMS?

No, The Tuscany is a completely non-smoking property.


CAN I HAVE PACKAGES DELIVERED TO THE TUSCANY BEFORE I ARRIVE?

Yes, we will be happy to accept small packages sent to The Tuscany a few days prior to your arrival or during your visit. It is very important that the packages are addressed as follows:

We will deliver the packages to the room upon your arrival, or you may inquire with the front desk at check in.


HOW CAN I GET TO THE TUSCANY FROM THE AIRPORT?

The Tuscany does not provide transportation to or from any of the three New York City airports. Please see below for transportation options:

JFK

Express bus services run every 20 minutes and will drop off near Grand Central Terminal on 41st street between Lexington and Park Avenues. This is just two blocks from The Tuscany. Expect one way fares of $16-$20 and round trip fares of $28-$35.

Yellow taxi service from the airport is $52 plus tolls and gratuity (expect to spend approximately $70). Taxis will hold a maximum of 4 persons. There are a limited number of minivan taxis that can hold up to 5 persons. Accessible taxis are available for those with disabilities; inquire with airport staff for assistance.

Our concierge team will be delighted to arrange a car or limousine service that will meet you at baggage claim and take you directly to the hotel. Please contact the concierge for details and pricing.

LAGUARDIA

Express bus services run every 15 minutes and will drop off near Grand Central Terminal on 41st street between Lexington and Park Avenues. This is just two blocks from The Tuscany. Expect one way fares of $13-$15 and round trip fares of $20-$25.

Yellow taxi service from the airport is metered, and can range from $30-45 (including gratuity) depending on traffic. Taxis will hold a maximum of 4 persons. There are a limited number of minivan taxis that can hold up to 5 persons. Accessible taxis are available for those with disabilities; inquire with airport staff for assistance.
